Did anyone else used to read Busy Town Books of Richard Scarry?

They were my favorite books when I was a little kid.Did anyone else used to read Busy Town Books of Richard Scarry?
They used to have a cartoon with them too didn't they?
is that the one with a worm that wears a shoe?

and flew around in an apple?Did anyone else used to read Busy Town Books of Richard Scarry?
Yes, i didDid anyone else used to read Busy Town Books of Richard Scarry?
I read a couple of them, but mostly I watched the cartoon. Lowly was the worm and Huckle was the cat that ran around together.
Was that the books which had street scenes with cars, lorries, dustcarts, buses, motorbikes etc.? If yes my eldest son used to like those - I didn't, and to this day I can't tell one car from another. I tell my husband a friend has a new car. His reply 'What car is it?' Me 'Well, it was blue I remember that'
I read them as a kid, and I read them to my kids today. Richard Scarry is a classic kids' author--right up there with Dr. Seuss, in my opinion.
Ha-ha! Good grief - I read them when I was little....and then got them for my son when he was little....glad to see they're still around.

Long live Lowly Worm! (lol)
Yes! I had all the books and the snap together towns with the cars and cardboard trees and hard plastic grass.
