Story book from ages ago maybe you have it i just need the name?

when i was younger i had a bed time story book that contained 'the little red hen' among others.

does any one remember the name of the book te illustrations where done by richard scarry and as far as i know he wrote the little red hen 2.

If any one knows the name of the book please let me know ( i think the book had a white cover or blue) thanks

Its a big story book containing loads of story's and the only story i remember is the little red hen that was the name of the story.. its about a hen who wants to make bread but none of his friends will help im so he does it al by him self.

maybe this will help when he asks his friends for help

"Not I," barked the lazy dog

"Not I," purred the sleepy cat

"Not I," quacked the noisy yellow duck

"Then I will," said the little red hen, so the little red hen planted the seeds all by her self.

but i would like to know the name of the book that contained that story i think richard scarry wrote it and illustrated itStory book from ages ago maybe you have it i just need the name?
I think you're talking about Nursery Tales...It was later called Animal Nursery Tales. Its a "Giant Little Golden Book"

Below are the stories contained in the book I am thinking of:

The Ugly Duckling, The Little Red Hen, The Wold and the Kids, The Three Sillies, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Drakestail.

Hope this is what you're looking for!

“Face facts: Patriot Act aids security, not abuse.” By Paul Rosenzweig

“Security versus Civil Liberties.” By Richard Posner

“The Patriot Act of the 18th Century.” By Ishmael Reed

“Acts of Resistance,” By Elaine Scarry

Can you tell me the similarities and differences between all 4? Compare and contrast their points-of-view, their methods of argument (ie. Posner and Reed use history as examples, while Scarry uses textual analysis)Has anyone read these essays?
Wow what a difficult Q to answer, this is the best I can offer, having never read any of the essays you mention.

I've put together a list of links for you to look at and would suggest airing on the side of caution.

And countless other's you couldn't list! D:How many non-Japanese cartoons have you seen? Can you list them all?
Sorry..... I cant list my whole life..Good Luck!
Too many to count... why did you waste all that time listing those?
a lot . and no ,I can't name them all.
I don't think I'll be able to list them in ABC order, because they'll pop up in my mind at random times.

    xD

Arthur, Ed Edd and Eddy, The Flintestones, Totally Spies, Hey Arnold, Winx Club, The Rugrats, The Wild Thornberries, Spongebob, Scooby-Doo, Whinnie the Pooh, Xiaolin Showdown, The Adventures of Flapjack, Dexter's Laboratory, Chowder, Johney Bravo, Powerpuff Girls (Srsly, how can I forget this, I was obsessed with that show back then. xD), Batman, Kim Possible, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpons, Phineas and Ferb, Back at the Barnyard, Rugats All Grown Up, Looney Toons, The Angry Beaver, and The Fairly Odd Parents.
Eh, there's a few of those I haven't watched plus tons more that I have.

I have LITERALLY watched every cartoon that came on cartoon network, Disney, Nickelodeon, Fox, WB/CW, over the last 20 years. Plus a couple more channels to boot.

So no, I can't name them all, and I have no intention of trying to put together a comprehensive list of them all.

As many frivolous things as I may spend my free time on, that is not going to be one of them.
